Performance Appraisals

Criteria-based performance appraisal forms, which are taken directly from the content of job descriptions, along with competency evaluations, and performance on the job are used to evaluate the performance of all Greenleaf Homecares employees.

All employees are evaluated annually for the following:

a. Up-to-date personnel files

b. Current professional license

c. Frequency of absenteeism and lateness

d. Skills Competency

e. Patient and/or family comments

f. Interaction with office personnel

Education

Greenleaf Home cares requires all employees to complete the following annual inservices:

  1. Safety in the Community
  2. Infection Control
  3. Adult and Child Abuse
  4. Fire Safety

Additionally, all Greenleaf Homecares employees are expected to complete at least four hours of continuing education annually.

Payroll

Payroll Period

The payroll period is Monday through Sunday. Paychecks are issued on a weekly basis. Invoices must be received by the payroll department no later than noon on Monday following the week you worked.

EXAMPLE: If you worked any time this week (Monday thru Sunday), your invoice would be due Monday of next week. NOTE: Payroll is delayed by one week.

EXAMPLE: If you worked any time this week (Monday thru Sunday), your paycheck would be issued Wednesday, two weeks from now.

Release of Employee Information

 complies with all government regulations concerning the release of employee information. When appropriate and legally indicated, Greenleaf Homecares will release information but ensures that the confidentiality of employee records will be maintained.

Confidential Information
Information regarding the condition, financial data, care and/or treatment of any patient must be held in strict confidence. You should never discuss confidential information with anyone outside of the offices of Greenleaf Homecares or in public places.

The only time you may discuss a patient, is when it is required for the care and/or treatment of the patient. Any confidential information regarding employees of  Greenleaf Homecares such as salary or
